Cindy
We will not start a new class until summer or fall. We do have a class that meets Monday and Wednesday from 2-3 pm. This class has been going for a couple of months so you would need a private lesson or two to get some of the basics established. Class fees are $80 per month.

Scott and I enjoyed reading the Tribune spread on you today, Liu Yu. Can't wait to read your book. I'm so happy that you wrote about your life that is quite different from my California childhood.

Liu Yu has been my sister-in law for going on 20 years and I never realized the life she lived before coming to America. It is so eye opening to read her story and how we American's take our individual liberties for granted.... This book should be required reading for all high school government classes because it opens ones eyes to many realities of life that are not fully explored by the main stream media or our present Federal Government. I will forever be humbled by the accomplishments of my Sister-in Law. GJPetredean

Dear Chris Babb,

We do not have a class suitable for a 4 year old. Our youth program has matured from preteens to teenagers. I am not aware of any other Chinese style schools in the SLO area but that does not mean there are not any.
I usually suggest Akido classes for younger students as I had know there to be classes for children your sons age.
I can only suggest you continue to check with schools in the area.
Thank you for your interest.

I am looking for a tai chi/kung fu school for my four-year old son, but it seems like the only martial arts schools around here for children are primarily Japanese styles, and I'm not interested in that. Do you teach children, or do you know of a school in the area?
